Climate Crisis Mural
2020, South Eugene Highschool
Created to highlight the urgent threat of climate change, this mural was installed in the South Eugene High School science courtyard as a visual reflection on environmental impact and responsibility. The composition contrasts a vibrant, thriving ecosystem with a stark, polluted landscape filled with plastic waste, illustrating the consequences of human choices and the importance of protecting the natural world.
Following the completion of the project, I used the mural as the foundation for a grant proposal that secured $2,500 in funding from the school to support the development of additional murals for the art department.
